Rose Garden Restaurant

A staple in the Roseville/Citrus Heights area that caters to celiac and the gluten sensitive! My wife and I went to Rose Garden and alerted the waitress of our gluten intolerance. She was very knowledgeable of what foods on the menu were safe for us and even checked with the kitchen about the sweet and sour chicken we nearly ordered (which ended up not being celiac safe, so we went with orange chicken 👍). The kitchen took measure to ensure our foods didn't have soy sauce (the main culprit behind a lot of the wheat content in chinese foods) and we had a FANTASTIC meal 😁 Thank you Rose Garden!

No vegetarian egg rolls. But the eggplant and fried rice dishes were very tasty. Better than most restaurants for the same menu items. I would like to be offered vegetarian choices not on the menu. I get tired of eating the same things year after year. To make a Chef's Special Menu is cheap, there is only one for each menu type, in the entire restaurant; unless they become popular. Vegetarian Chinese entrees rarely offered: 1) Veggie dumplings with pad thai sauce 2) Veggie deep fried balls 3) Tofu with minced ginger on a bed of fried finely chopped cauliflower 4) ... so many to list So many options for vegetarian entrees, hardly ever get on the menu. Having a Chef's Special menu specific to the type of customer would be nice. These menus would have a $5 extra charge for each ordered item. The price for each item would be comparable to the prices on the normal menu. Types of customer: 1) Meat only, no rice or other vegetables 2) Vegetarian, entrees not found elsewhere 3) Men's health, Eastern medicine entrees 4) Women's health, Eastern Medicine entrees 5) Weight loss, meals below 500 calories 6) Gluten free, entrees free of gluten 7) Brain building meals 8) ... Contact me if you want related entree ideas. Simply include with the main menu, a flyer that lists the other menus available. Every time anyone orders from an alternate menu, it's like having the profit of another customer, without much of any added effort. Waitresses get a bigger tip. The customer wins, the owner wins. Both get something useful. Just my opinion
