My friends and I were excited to try this place, especially because I love Italian and there were gluten free options for my friend. Before arriving, I called to ask whether dogs are allowed outside (my friend and I each have small dogs). I was told dogs are allowed both inside and outside. Because we arrived around 8:40 and it was cold, we sat inside with the dogs under the table. The first person saw us come in and seemed nice, but as soon as one of the servers approached (a man with glasses and a long beard), the first server to talk to us, he was very rude. He didn't say hi or anything, but rudely said "I can't have dogs here" to which I began to reply, "I was told they were allowed inside when I called." But he abruptly interjected, without even looking at me, with something that sounded like the equivalent of whatever and walked away, without taking our order or anything. Another server came around, he seemed relatively young and talk, and at least he was very polite and friendly. But when our wines arrived, my two friends were surprised at the low pour on one of theirs. I decided to ask this server about it. He said it seemed normal but that he'd ask for a bit more to be poured. Instead, within a couple of minutes the first rude server abruptly placed the same glass on the table and said it was a correct 6oz pour and just left. It was so fast and abrupt we couldn't say anything. We talked to the nicer server about it. He said maybe the other guy was having a long day because he's normally nice. But we felt so unwelcome. I decided to speak to the manager just to say the experience and hope that doesn't happen to others. Instead, the manager said people complained about the dogs (which is weird because they were mostly quiet and away from anybody, under the table and ther weren't many people at the restaurant). She was so dismissive and didn't even respond to us saying he was rude. She didn't care. We won't be back. My friend who had the gluten free pizza only ate slice anyway.
It was just a crummy experience over all.
