I love this place. I travel to Palo Alto for work and it’s not always easy to get folks together for dinner. The setup here is perfect. It’s so easy to have people drop in or leave early. No one is waiting around for everyone to finish their meal and pay the tab, there is no pressure to do anything but hang out and leave when you are ready. It’s just laid back. Because of the ambience everyone can relax and enjoy. I love being able to get up and walk around or to order food and pass it around to share. Oh and did I mention how amazing the food and drinks are? We had a large group with multiple dietary restrictions. Vegan, vegetarian, celiac…there was something for everyone. They are also incredibly fast. Almost like magic. This is not an order all at once place, with a large group you can have a constant rotation of food coming to the table. I wish there were more places like Alpine Inn. Ps. Did I mention the beautiful drive to reach this place? You won’t want to miss it.

Compliments to the chef!! Everything we had was delicious. We really enjoyed the fire roasted vegetables, both chicken tinga and carnitas tacos were amazing. We highly recommend the desserts. The banana pudding is to die for and the apple pie is super yummy. We also had the carrot cake which was gluten free and on point. The atmosphere is wonderful and we will Definitely be back!!
