Roxa Desserts

This was for my 40th birthday weekend. I have Celiacs disease and other allergies like pineapple and kiwi. I never get dessert at restaurants when dinning out due to restrictions. I also often get very depressed about this due to the fact I have a huge dessert tummy 😋 I was amazed by chef Heather how she handled my allergies and curated my food and drink options around the allergies. Paula and Heather checked in each course to make sure my allergies were observed. If there was something in the 6 course menu I couldn't have I still had a mildly modified dessert that was on theme. I never felt left out. I brought my bf he was going for support not huge dessert fan but was amazed by the savory salty and sweet options and quickly won over and excited for each course . There's no way she could of know but her desserts and fizzy lifting lemonade connected me with childhood flavors and memories. I loved how she used flowers that were edible. Each course was so savory and imaginative and I felt a real personable touch each course explained and the attentiveness to my allergies she had a carefully curated menu that was full of complex flavors hard to pick a favorite but the Ube dish was out of this world. Thanks for making my special night. I'm going to try to keep up with you and try to do this yearly

Amazing!!! My gf is gluten free and heard about the Willy Wonka tasting menu and wanted to go for her birthday. I was happy to go and be supportive but I'm generally not a big dessert person, but this was next level. The chef prepared the desserts right in front of us and was very personable as was the manager who worked as the server. The creations were gorgeous in presentation and exquisite to the palette. I prefer savory over sweet and these dishes were perfectly balanced. I did not expect to enjoy myself to the extent that I don't think I will ever forget this experience and these days I seem to forget most things. Well done Roxa you really created a special night for my special girl that we will both remember forever!!!!
