Both myself and my friend had Hunters chicken. One of the best I've tasted. Great range of food and cater for gluten free. A real old village pub ( I think dating back to 1571 ) . It's a really nice, friendly atmosphere, and the owners have only taken over 8 months ago..
And the highlight of our visit was meeting Jennifer Saunders, French and Saunders, who has family that live across the road.

I was staying in closeby Tavistock on a Monday night when everywhere local was closed so was very glad to find this gem. Dog friendly, in the small bar to the right, and they made me a meal off menu as Iām pescatarian and gluten intolerant. Delicious Hake, veggies and gluten free chips. Would defo recommend. Thanks š
