Royal Deck Tearoom

No visit to the Britannia is complete without experiencing the Tearoom. We visited last Sunday and it was delicious. The staff were very warm and friendly. The scones were fab ! As was the Red Pepper and Tomato soup. 1 of our party of 6 was dairy free and gluten free and another was Vegan and they were pleased with the choices on offer for their needs.

We went with the family to relax on the Royal Yacht Britannia. At the same time, we decided to go to the Tearoom on the ship for afternoon tea. In advance, we were afraid that it might be overpriced or otherwise just a weak tourist spot. But the reality was different. The service was friendly and polite, the environment was great and the food was good. We took the caesar salad and three times the Special, which included french fries, your choice of soup and your choice of bread (which I also got gluten-free). The price was approx. 15 pounds, which was a reasonable price for tasty food. The only taste minus was that the Caesar salad dressing was so strong that the other flavors of the salad were hidden. I recommend the place and getting to know the ship in general!
