Decided to try a new coffee shop today, and Royal Oak Roast did not disappoint! I ordered the almond joy latte and vegan gluten free almond butter bar… both were amazing! Really happy to have a new coffee shop to go to!

Small independent coffee shop located below the griffin in royal oak on Woodward just north of i696. People were waiting for the doors to open at 7am on a very cold day so that's a good sign. They have your basic coffee drinks but their signature drinks for hot,cold, frapps, smoothies,etc. I'm not into coffee but enjoyed my tea blends. Their menu offers sandwiches and a few breakfast options including gluten free but havent tried those yet. Quick & fast service as they appear to have a lot of repeat takeaway customers.
