I recently visited the Royal Sovereign for lunch with two other people. I have visited several times and have never been disappointed with the menu choice or quality of the food. A member of staff Tom made us most welcome on our arrival and took us to the table we had booked. He quickly took our drinks orders and obtained a menu for one of our party who has a gluten free diet. He returned shortly afterwards and took our order. The food came and was piping hot and cooked fresh. Tom returned to check we were happy with the food. The staff were busy at the time but no issues with delays. We will be back. Well done

Legged it in to get some food after visiting hospital. Gluten free no problem for her; a big pie no problem for me. IPA at end of barrel, but barman exchanged it, no argument. He smiled as well, and it often isn't like that when you complain.
