Went for the first time before the P!nk concert last night. Ordered the chicken tacos because they were labeled GF (gluten free). I told the server I was gf and needed them to be gf (I even said I don’t know if it’s naturally gluten free, or if I need to let you know, but I definitely need it gf. She replied that yes, they have to enter it as gf because of the tortilla). A runner brought them out and I saw the crispy chicken. I waited to take a bite because I was suspicious of the chicken and asked the runner if it was definitely gluten free? He said yes, they have corn tortillas. I took a bite (it was delicious) and then the server came over and asked if I had a question about the tortillas. I said yes I was just trying to confirm that the tacos were gluten free because of the crispy chicken, but the other guy said they were gluten-free. She said I’m so sorry, as I’m finishing the bite in my mouth… She said the tortillas are gluten-free, but the chicken is not. She asked if my allergy was serious. Yes, I have celiac. She apologized and took my meal off the bill. She said she didn’t realize the chicken had to be rung up differently. I said I even confirmed with someone else and told her she should tell the staff that if they don’t know, don’t just say yes. Luckily I got through most of the concert with no issues, towards the end my stomach was upset. This morning, my stomach is a mess. I will likely have symptoms for about 3 days until this works it’s way out of my system. I will never go there again and they should really retrain their entire staff about gluten allergies! Update: 24 hrs later and I’m still dealing with stomach issues. Really hope you can educate your staff about food allergies!
