Ruby's of London - Tunbridge Wells

4 ladies who had pre-booked afternoon tea. One of us had requested the gluten free option on the menu. Was very surprised that this meant that one other person had to have GF ‘as the serving was for 2??’ Despite offering ‘bottomless’ tea we were only permitted 2 pots to share and yet again each couple had to have the same tea and no offers of a refill? The promised hot chocolate and mini cookie never materialised. The cafe was clean but the ambience left a lot to be desired. The noise levels were horrendous, we think possibly due to a blender crushing ice for iced drinks and the music was exceptionally loud, we did eventually ask if the music could be turned down as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak. The attitude of the staff (other than one member) left a lot to be desired and although we enjoy the cakes will stick with take away in future.

Visited Ruby's today and bought a box of their delicious cupcakes. Wow, they were AMAZING. The best gluten free cakes I've EVER had. Very pleasant service too.
