Went here with my fiancé for a quick bite to eat for dinner. The first thing that I noticed walking through the door was how outdated the decor was and the condition of the tables, seating, etc. We waited for several minutes before we were greeted and seated despite only 3 other customers being located in the restaurant. Looking at the menu, it appeared that about 50% of the items were overpriced. I remember thinking that if they're charging that much for most of the meals that the restaurant shouldn't look that outdated. We bot got burgers, which were about $13 a piece. For drinks, we paid $9 for a glass of wine and $5 for a fairly decent sized beer. When we ordered, my fiance asked for gluten-free options such as the bun and removal of fried jalapeños since she has a severe allergy. Despite the lack of customers, it took about 45 mins to get our food, and when we received it, she had fried jalapeños on her burger. We talked to the server who apologized and brought the burger back. The server later notified us that the kitchen was just going to pick the fried jalapeños off the burger and send it back out, but she had them remake it due to my fiancés allergy. I applaud the server, but what she told us about the kitchen is extremely questionable, unsafe, and unprofessional. The server saved this location from a potential 1 star review. I doubt we'll return to this location and urge people with allergies to be cautious.
