I am so upset with this place. I used to LOVE Rumbi! But I had to stop because I was diagnosed with Celiacs. But then I found out they had a gluten free sauce! So when I moved to St George I had to go! I got the gluten free teriyaki sauce with a bowl with chicken rice and veggies. We sat down and waited for our food and the most bored looking dead eyed teen came out with what looked like my bowl. And sauce in a cup that wasn’t labeled. I looked at him and said “Is that the gluten free sauce?” He says in the MOST “I-don’t-care-and-don’t-know-anything voice,” “I don’t know.” And he just stared at Me. And I say “Well I need you to go find out.” *continues to stare* me, “Can you go find out?” He leaves and comes back 10 seconds later so I don’t even know if he asked at all. And says to me “yeah it’s gluten free.” I ever so hesitantly take it. And a minute later another bowl came out with sauce that looked exactly what I had. Rumbi, why is your gluten free sauce not labeled? And your staff was horribly trained! And now I am convinced that he gave me the wrong sauce because I have been sick ever since I ate there 4 weeks ago! Not the kinda sick I usually get just being cross contaminated. But sick like I obviously ate something that was not gluten free.

would give 0 stars if i could from my experience tonight, ordered a small luau pork bowl, no veggies, with a gluten allergy (i have celiac disease) & my boyfriend ordered a small sweet and spicy (his was correct) the problem was the 2 times they came up to us, once to let us know that the pork wasn’t gluten free & they would put on chicken (i’m okay with this and go about my conversation) then she wants to know if i still want it gluten free(yes, ma’am, i do) so we get home with our food, both bowls are the exact same, chicken, veggies, & rice. both sauces look the exact same, the gluen free bowl isn’t even labelled, & to top it off, THERE WERE HAIRS IN BOTH OF OUR MEALS!! i’m completely frustrated with this place, not just because of the mess up but the pure issue of hygiene in this place. will NEVER return nor recommend. *i also called to ask which bowl was safe for me to eat & they just apologized, & offered me a free meal only to ask if i could come all the way back in to have the problem fixed. i don’t want a free meal, i just want people to understand that people with celiac are already limited to what they can eat, & we put trust into the people that prepare our food.
