Russell's Steaks, Chops, & More

If I could give 10 stars I would. We were a party of 6 celebrating my son's birthday. I have celiac disease and have not ate at a regular restaurant in 4 years, I have stuck to eating at 100% gluten free restaurants because of the risk of cross contamination. A lot of restaurants list gluten free items, but then use the same cook tops, pans, ect ect, so now it is no longer gluten free. I emailed the restaurant in advance and asked if they would be able to accommodate me, and what precautions they take. Wow they were great. The manager didn't make me feel bad, or like I was being dramatic for asking questions. The staff were so knowledgeable regarding my disease restrictions and cross contamination. As soon as I got there the manager said we have all hands on deck in the kitchen and they are all aware of your restrictions. It was so refreshing to be treated well and not like a "Karen". The food was absolutely amazing! All 6 of us were very happy and full when we left. Thank you for everything. It was nice to have a meal out with my family. We will be back many times!!!

We got the Escape Package from the hotel meaning we were entitled to $98 off the menu or a dinner for two. We both ordered the Lamb, mine was a bit fatty, but the size of the portion was good. The green mint jelly was amazing. They served delicious gluten free bread when I told them I had an allergy. They were attentive to small details such as our water glasses being empty. The sweet potato and vegetables on the plate were also good, although I would have liked more sweet potato. The Escape package from the hotel does not include taxes or gratuity on the bill. Very good meal. Nice ambience, good service and we were seated right at 8:30pm (our reservation).
