Russell's on Lake Ivanhoe

We came here after a low key courthouse elopement to celebrate with our families. I had been emailing with Zoe, the food and Bev manager and she was very responsive and accommodating. She made planning a breeze. Everyone was so impressed with dinner and they loved their food. I cannot emphasise how much their time and communication with us leading up to the event was valued. Sometimes with the allergies in our party, it’s tough to find somewhere that is able to accommodate and I really appreciated the staffs’ attention to detail and their knowledge about the menu. They were able to accommodate gluten free and low fodmap diets. Also literally everything we ordered was delicious. I also loved how one of the staff brought us out a little extra bowl of caper berries to try after my father in law insisted that everyone at the table try one from the charcuterie platter. The view was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing and I’m so glad we chose Russell’s to celebrate our special night with our family.

Having heard a lot of good things from friends that have been to Russel’s, we were excited to try it out! House pineapple old fashioned was a refreshing take on the OG. The menu was diverse and had something for everyone, even with a gluten intolerance. Food was all prepared perfectly and was delicious. Overall was a great experience. Atmosphere, staff and food were all wonderful.
