Rustico Neapolitan (Eastbourne)

We ordered a takeaway - unfortunately on a Gluten Free diet and the GF pizza (cheese and tomato) wasn’t very flavoursome or tasty to have. Very disappointing and not enjoyable. Everybody else’s pizzas were yummy though. We’re ready very quickly. My review is for GF eaters.

We went to Rustico Eastbourne, yesterday, with friends; total 2 adults, 3 children. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Lovely vegan salad as I have food intolerances, but they did also have other options I could choose from. Rustico do lovely gluten free pizza bases, from previous visits to Hastings and Ore sites. Our server in Eastbourne Rustico was Imogen. She was genuinely warm towards us on our arrival and throughout and was very happy to help us with any questions or requests we had, without imposing. The food was hot and didn't take long at all. We loved that we could see the pizzas cooking in the pizza oven, that went down very well with the kids. Based on this visit we will return again when we're next in Eastbourne.
