We had a lovely dinner experience at the Savr . We had made reservations few days in advance as we had heard it can get busy and personally I always prefer reservations when dining out . Upon arrival we were greeted by the downstairs hostess that let us know we would be dinning upstairs . As we went up the stairs you can’t help noticing the great design and attention to detail they have invested . Upstairs there was another hostess that greeted us by name and took us to our table . Very nice atmosphere and elegant feeling . We were seated at a great table facing the water . Our server was nice and brought us our drink menus . Despite the restaurant getting a bit busy at the time I have to say that the staff did a okay job but I did feel a bit rushed . Drinks were great and well prepared. Bread was brought to the table which was a nice starter. For a main course I ordered the seared cod that came with ricotta gnocchi and a very interesting broth of chorizo sausage . Never had something with a broth like that . Added a nice flavor to the dish . Fish was perfectly cooked ! I ordered a second drink and it was equally well prepared . Bar does a great job . They do have gluten free accommodations and can alter dishes where needed . Always a plus when restaurants do this . For desert we shared a crème brûlée which was just ok . Sugar had not completely melted on top and felt again a bit rushed . Overall I think the atmosphere and vibe was great and the main courses and drinks were awesome. Busy weekend night and service could have been a bit more refined and less rushed . I will certainly be back next time I’m in town to give them another try .

Haven’t shut up about it since I left, hopefully you can track my servers name from my reservation because I don’t remember what it was, but he was phenomenal. From personality to service he was exquisite. The branzino was phenomenal and my date had the Lemon Ricotta Ravioli which she enjoyed. The gluten free options were delightful, including the Creme Brûlée which was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night. It was a great spot for a first date. I may not know for sure if “we’ll” be back, but I know “I” sure will be.
