Unfortunately, they claim to have multiple gluten-free items, but they aren't. Today we went to celebrate as a family, including our celiac son. We asked for all gluten-free dishes and emphasized the need to avoid cross-contamination. Now he's vomiting profusely. This is what happens every time he ingests gluten. This is totally unacceptable. Celiac disease is a very serious disease. It's not a fad or a trend. People suffer tremendously when they're affected by it, and that's exactly what's happening in our house today. I have celiac disease and had been in the city for a few days, so I knew that there was an understanding of celiac disease in the restaurants. I passed by the café and decided to go in and ask about the sin tacc products, as I had done in other places, and I ordered a sweet and a tea. I felt very sick that day and I really regret not having asked the waiter more questions due to my difficulty with Spanish. In addition, it took almost half an hour for the simple order I mentioned to arrive. The waiter was not prepared to answer more fully about the sin tacc products, as I have experienced in other places that talk about celiacs and explain better when asked about the sin tacc options.
