There’s a lot of great things about Shoto and just a few we didn’t love. The omakase came out very fast paced, with one dish right after another. It is also a very Americanized omakase, with ribs and potatoes. There is only one round of sushi. And if you’re gluten free, you can’t do the omakase but they did help me pick a comparable menu for myself and tried to bring things out at the same time. If we came again, we’d do some more sushi and small plates over the omakase. The cocktails were good but not great. And they had single use chopsticks instead of real chopsticks. Very expensive.
