I was visiting from Seattle and went to SOMI. We were seated quickly. Our server wasn't the warmest, but she did her job and got us served. There was a really nice server at the table across from us and he was very friendly and even said hello to us with a big smile, so he made up for that. SOMI offered gluten free choices, so we started with the Crispy Spring Rolls and they were delicious. My daughter and I had the Grass Fed Wagyu Pho (GF) and my son-in-law had one with the meatballs and other meats in it. The broth was nice. The portions of meat and noodles were smaller than the Pho restaurants in Seattle, but it was enough. The ingredients were fresh. The garnish plate didn't have a lot of sprouts, basil, etc. to split between 3 people and there was only one lime on the plate, but I'm sure we could have asked for more. Taking a look around, everyone seemed content, the large parties were being served well and the restaurant was almost full. Our meal hit the spot. It wasn't overly loud, so we could hear one another speak. We were in and out quickly. I'll probably not be in Salt Lake City any time soon, but if I were, I'd eat there again.
