SUN of WOLF

Camilla was an exceptional manager and her staff was on point with food and beverages. I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit. It was a beautiful vibe and very chill atmosphere. I have a ton of food allergies and they were so so so accommodating. Can't wait to go back!! Also, coming from a celiac (plus some), the fries are safe and not prepared with other gluten-containing items!!

Very tasty food that's way beyond our ability to cook at home and is not available at other restaurants in the area. Try the huitlacoche tortillas and maja lasagna. The menu has well marked gluten free, vege, and vegan choices. Some other dishes can be made gluten or dairy free by request. This place is hopping at dinner time and yet they had enough capacity to seat us right away. It is a bit loud indoors. There's also lots of outdoor seating with heating flames. I've been wanting to try Sun of Wolf since they opened -- the menu is so enticing and the family restaurants starting with La Fiesta have long been my favorites -- but SoW isn't open for weekday lunches (when I'm often on Cal Ave). Finally we decided to go down there for dinner. We'll be back for sure! *Please open for at least one weekday lunch, say Fridays.*
