I ordered Arepa after speaking with the young man taking orders at the counter. I informed him that I had gluten allergy. He showed me the list of items next to the counter that shows foods that can be gluten-free. After looking at the list, I asked for his recommendation. He recommended the Arepa. It was very good.

Labor has Flavor! We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. My companion usually gets a taco salad in a fried tortilla and was disappointed at the size but immediately impressed by the taste and layers compared to his usual place. I tried the Cuban bowl as I wanted gluten and dairy free, and the beef was tender with milder spice than the chicken. A cooked plantain split the meat from two kinds of rice with some black beans nested above the plantain. A trip to the Salsa bar had me trying Green Monster and Pineapple Habanero; the pineapple won me over and made me sweat.
