The short version is Sabrosa has wonderful food, wonderful service, and an accommodating menu for those looking for gluten free options. My wife and I came for dinner on a Friday night and ordered empanadas, beef cachapas, and chicken patacones. Our meal was so flavorful, the cachapas pancakes and patacones are homemade, and they use plenty of organic ingredients. I’m no expert on Venezuelan food, but everything we ate seemed like yummy comfort food. Quick and easy but certainly hours and hours of care went into preparing all the ingredients.

*warning* some things that say gluten free may be fried in same oil as wheat stuff, so have clear convos and checks about allergens. Super tasty, friendly authentic Venezuelan place - the beef cachapa was excellent/bountiful/delicious (technically gluten free but fried in the same oil), along with the chicken an avocado arepa (fully gluten free) - worth a stop in if that's what you're craving when in the public market.
