I have some environmental allergies (lactose, soy, gluten intolerance) Didn't have them until 3 years ago, when I was 60. I was raised on cow milk, homemade bread, etc. Why I suddenly became intolerant is anyone's guess. Anyhow, Safeway has a section called "Wellness Foods" and most of the replacement foods for the allergies I have are all in one area. Makes shopping a lot quicker. I don't know anyone who likes to go shopping, especially when allergies make you wander the entire store to find foods you can eat. So, Safeway has my vote as the best store to shop at.
