Saffron

The owner, David, was very friendly and accommodating. I am celiac and he assured me that 95% of the menu is gluten free. He offered up additional information on labeling to assure me. I told him I was semi hungry and he recommended the salmon kabobs. It came with two different sauces and rice with a salad. It was fresh and delicious. I will be a new “usual” customer now!

I’ve been twice in the last six months and both times my boyfriend and I were the only ones in the restaurant. I don’t understand how because the food and service is extraordinary. The owner knows a lot about celiac disease and gives great explanations about how the kabobs are celiac safe without having to ask. Don’t be thrown off by the worn down sign outside because inside it’s very quaint.

My wife is a celiac so finding places that are truly accessible to her can be hard but we hit a home run with Saffron. Great food, quick service and most importantly my wife was able to enjoy her food without getting sick!
