Sail At Castle

We absolutely love Sail at Castle – it’s our favourite place to visit every time we come to Cyprus, and it never disappoints. Mike, the owner, is such a great guy and a fantastic host. You can tell he is genuinely passionate about his restaurant. As a coeliac, I have to be careful when eating out, but I have never had any issues here. The menu is extensive and clearly marked for gluten-free and other dietary requirements, and if you let them know your meal needs to be prepared gluten-free, they make sure the kitchen is aware too – a really reassuring extra step. The food is absolutely amazing – top quality and beautifully presented. Last night I had the tuna with grilled vegetables, which was delicious. My daughter, who is also coeliac, loved the stifado, and my husband (who is not coeliac) said the pork chop was the best he has ever had! We often have a cocktail here and the menu is excellent too. The setting is stunning – right on the harbour front – and in our view, it is the best restaurant along the row. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. Nickolas, in particular, is the friendliest waiter you could hope for – attentive, efficient, with a good sense of humour. We cannot recommend Sail at Castle highly enough. Thank you, Mike.
