Very politely greeted and was directed to the first floor where we were greeted again and taken to our table. We we immediately provided with a bottle of drinking water and the left to peruse the menu. I had scallops for starters , even though I would have preferred slightly bigger ones the dish was absolutely lovely. For mains my wife , who is coeliac ordered a gluten free roast pork dinner and our son had the normal roast pork. I decided on the duck breast and was not disappointed. When the two roast dinners arrived they both had Yorkshire puddings which was a quick tell tale that it was not gluten free. The waitress apologised and quickly returned to the kitchen with both roast dinners, a little while later she returned with both dinners and the portions were not stingy at all. Mains completed my wife had the pannacotta and my son the sticky toffee pudding. Both deserts were well liked. The service was attentive, polite, not to fast and not to slow. This supported by the cosy and comfortable dinning areas we were all well impressed. Definitely a return visit on the cards
