Updated Feb 2024 This is now the worst Sainsbury's 20 mins Ques on self checkouts, 1 staffed till on a Saturday afternoon, waiting ages for paracetamol to be authorised then they have the cheek to put a barrier with alarm in place and treat all their customers as criminals. Zero service shocking company. Big Sainsbury's in Bath, free parking but only for 90mins. Good range of gluten food. At time of review they are stocking gluten free Cornish pasties. Go past the entrance to the left and you will find local independent shops and stalls .

Not a good experience today. I bought a pie for my coeliac husband from the 'free from' fridge. It was very expensive as Gluten Free products often are, but it was a treat - and the central purchase of a meal. I did not read the label as it was in the ' free from' fridge ( I know I should have read it but I trusted the products in the fridge were free from wheat) - got home - you guessed it - contained wheat. Wasted my time and money and do not want to make extra trips to the supermarket during Covid. Felt ripped off - should have read the label.
