As East Asian native, I usually don't have high expectations for Japanese restaurants in the US, but this one surpassed all my expectations . The tempura batter was done correctly - light, fluffy and crunchy, and I could tell that they took care not to activate the gluten in the batter. The oyako-don was perfectly balanced - the sauce was not overpowering and they had the correct proportions of chicken, egg and vegetables. The sashimi was cut properly and the donkatsu sauce was also excellent. Very impressed. Thank you for making my Christmas evening (and my first evening ever in Boise) exceptional.

Everything was delicious and Fresh! They even had gluten-free soy sauce- tamari!
My sister-in-law had sukiyaki that looked incredible! Nice large servings too.
