We had Romo as our chef. I always have apprehension when telling someone of my son's Celiac disease and the accommodations needed for him to be able to eat. This is why he hasn't had tepanyaki in 6 years!! It's just too much.
Not so with Romo! We gave it a chance tonight and tried it and it worked! Romo cooked my son's rice with GF soy sauce, then his veggies and his proteins (salmon and scallops).
My son was so excited!! He felt so included, being able to eat with everyone and not order a special plate, which is the norm.
Romo cooked his foods first with gf, then after my sons plate was done, he added the reg sauces and cooked all of ours.
It made my son's day!!! Watching the egg 🥚 skills made him so happy, it was such a great night, and we can thank Romo for doing this!
My son felt just like everyone else for a night.
We had the filet, shrimp and chicken option, it was great!
