Italian place with great GF pasta

Sale e Pepe is special. Sitting on the deck overlooking the marina with the Caribbean breeze is the quintessential SXM dining experience and dinner last night was no exception. We started with the Burrata appetizer which was presented on a bed of arugula and was excellent. My wife had the pasta with Shrimp and Scallops which she said was very good. I had the pasta with a ragu sauce that was thick, rich, and delicious. With dinner I ordered a bottle of Bordeaux, which they brought to the table and opened it to let it breath. The wine was excellent and served at the proper temperature. The service is also very good and a special shout-out to Belle for her recommendation of my ragu and her service throughout the meal. My wife and I are gluten-free a my wife for medical reasons - and Belle and the chefs were very helpful. We felt the cocktails could have been better but that didn’t impact our evening. Overall highly recommended.
