I never write reviews but after this last experience I felt like I had to! Was my second time here, and both have been so delicious and wonderful. The pemmican mousse (picture added) and sablefish are divine - I had to take the sablefish home and was literally thinking about it going to sleep excited to have it the next day because it was so delicious and cooked perfectly. Probably some of the best fish I have ever had. All the servers are so kind, atmosphere is perfectly relaxed but upscale. Highly highly recommend. Their hot apple cider is perfectly comforting and not too sweet. And the gluten free bannock was also so good it was almost indistinguishable from the regular one which is really nice as someone who is used to many gluten free options being subpar. 5/5 !!

We went to try the gluten free bannock, however it for ever changed us for the better. What an absolute journey Salmon n’ Bannock took us on. We arrived to an intimate dining room and escorted to our table. We were greeted by an all indigenous team. The team all works together to ensure you are taken care of. Hearing the land acknowledgement and the life story of our waitress’ life thus far was so impactful. It actually brought tears to our eyes. We chose Blueberry and Sage Refreshers which tasted so fresh and refreshing. We started with the Candied Salmon and the Bannock with Brie and Bison Gravy… to die for!Followed by the risotto with sockeye salmon and the Bison Pot Roast. We were absolutely filled to the brim with delicious food. This is without a doubt a must stop when n Vancouver. One will not be disappointed.

I had a "last minute" craving some good, earthy food. Reservations are recoomended on their website. Restaurant was full when I arrived, so i asked if I could order to go. Waitress checked with the kitchen and chef ok'd it. I ordered the game sausage and a gluten-free bannock. Took about 15 - 20 minutes. Food was excellent. There was just 1 game sausage on a bed of greens garnished with saskatoon/service berries. The bannock was excellent considering how difficult it is to do a good gluten free one. No cedar jelly, but rather some smuckers berry jam. The food was fairly expensive for the quantity, but I really wanted it. 🤣
