I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salt of the Earth, and I have to say, it was an absolute treat! The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the scallops. They were perfectly seared on the outside, with a tender, buttery center that practically melted in your mouth. The seasoning was just right, and the accompanying sauce had a delicate balance of flavors that really enhanced the natural sweetness of the scallops. Each bite was a joy. For the main course, I opted for the gluten-free wild mushroom pizza. As someone who is very particular about gluten-free crusts, I was beyond impressed with how light, crisp, and flavorful it was—without sacrificing the traditional pizza experience. Topped with fresh, vibrant mushrooms, including caramelized onion, and arugula, it had the perfect amount of balsamic glaze. The cheese was gooey and satisfying, and the crust didn’t feel heavy or dry like many gluten-free options tend to. It was a real standout. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy yet modern, making for a great overall experience. If you're looking for a place with standout seafood and delicious gluten-free options, I highly recommend checking out Salt of the Earth. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

After never having heard of Fennville, MI, we’ve been to Salt of the Earth twice this summer! Each time has been amazing, and our second time was made even more special because Kristi was our server. She was so caring about my dietary restrictions and she made everything fun. She made us feel like she genuinely cared about us. We also met the bread baker, whose name I did not get, but shoutout to her, too! The gluten free bread was DIVINE. She also got us a container of water for our little dog since it was steamy on the patio. We love this part of Michigan and will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!
