Saltgrass Steak House

Had a fantastic time yesterday, with Colin as our server. My wife’s celiac and he was suuuuper helpful and knowledgeable. The door was great and they went above and beyond for us. Will be visiting again the next time we pass through!

I have been to the Mansfield location twice. Food is good, but it takes far too long to reach your table, so you may want to bring a book or a pillow while you're waiting for your order. For a steakhouse, I am surprised that my steak was overcooked both times: ordered medium rare, they bring out medium well. They do have gluten free menu. The first time, my gluten sensitive kid got a gluten free burger bun and she was ok. The second time, they served my kid a gluten bun instead of gluten-free, even though we talked to them about it and they assured us they. When they served it, I had a bad feeling and had them double check and they again assured us. Two hours later, the poor kid went into a 3 hour long violent vomiting fit.... The tale-tale sign that the bum was not gluten free. When we left the second time (before we knew about the gluten problem), we had already decided that we would not be returning. Texas Roadhouse is right up the road and has never disappointed us like Saltgrass.
