Salty Sow

I have had mixed encounters with the wait staff here. My partner and I have gluten allergies. Not by choice are we forced to meticulously plow through most menus looking for land mines. We always ask the staff to be safe as well. Our waitress he last visit was so annoyed hat we asked and tried at every turn to sidestep asking the kitchen. She refused to ask about any of the specials and didn’t even know what was considered gluten and what wasn’t. For such a “nice” restaurant with prices to support its poshness, you’d think their waitstaff would at least be knowledgeable enough to answer basic nutritional questions. With all that said, if you dont suffer from allergies, the food is pretty delicious if you are willing to shell out the money and sit with strangers.
