Great food in a really nice atmosphere for a reasonable price. My wife is Celiac and requires a gluten free diet. We spoke with the owner and she was very knowledgeable. Many of the dishes are gluten free as well. We just stumbled upon this place but will definitely be coming back.

Eating at Sambal, Michelin awarded a restaurant in local Penang, Georgetown. I ordered Pork ribs, salted eggs fried chicken wings, Lap Mei ( aged pork meat), the dinner is enchanted with Smashed Yam with pork lard, Fried Milk and Tapai ( local Malaysia fermented glutenous rice- a bit alcohol in it by natural). Friendly staff and signature food is a must try in Penang. The pork ribs are a bit big, it's okay for 2 guys to share ( with beers is splendid).
