Sammy J's Grill and Bar West Kelowna

Had a gluten free bun, burger was tasty but the bun was terrible. Could not bite into it. Had to eat it without the bun.🥲

The service.was horrible. I am a celiac and after I asked for the gluten free menu I was completely ignored. I was able to tell the waitress what I wanted for my main, I was never asked if I wanted a second drink like my husband was, I had to tell the waitress I wanted another drink and when it came to dessert my husband asked what they had and he said strawberry cheese cake. I was not asked if I was having anything I was totally ignored. I was not spoken to by the waitress after I asked for the gluten free menu. As well when she found out I was celiac she told me I could not have anything deep fried because they did not have a separate fryer. Never have I been told I cannot have something I have always been made aware that they only have a shared fryer. I left this restaurant feeling like because I have special dietary needs I was not worth time of day. I have never been so humilated because I have special dietary needs. I will never step foot back into this establishment because of the way I was treated. Not sure if the waitress just wants the tips so she nicer to make customers or not but it gives Sammy Js a very bad name
