We had our wedding in May of 2024 and absolutely loved the venue as did our guests. Janet and her staff worked extremely hard to make the day seamless. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and more than willing to help.
A few recommendations if booking this venue:
-Book the venue for the entire weekend along with the farmhouse and bunkhouse. Having the extra time to spend with guests, set up and just enjoy a relaxing weekend was WELL worth it. We didn't feel rushed or stressed and Janet was super flexible with the schedule. Our close friends and family loved staying with us and got to enjoy the farm. We do recommend walking the farm and checking out the bunkhouse/farmhouse ahead of time to make the best use of the space.
-Have Sanaview handle the food...it was fantastic, comparable in price, fresh and there was plenty of it for guests to have seconds and take home leftovers. The presentation was great and Janet and the staff were very accomodating to those with dietary restrictions. We had a grazing board, brisket, grilled vegetables, mac n cheese, some gluten free and a dinner salad. Cookie table and the cake was provided by us.
- Either hire a planner or use Sanaview's. Rebecca and Janet helped us and took care of all the details..it was key. We originally planned to do more of the plannIng ourselves and are glad we didn't.
-Finally, and if looking to save a little money, you don't need to go over the top with flowers or decorations. The barn is beautifully decorated and gorgeous when lit up at night. Centerpieces for the tables and few for around the inside of the barn we felt was plenty. Anything more would have taken away from the character of the venue.
