... but after visiting Sapori it is definitely there. Hand-made dishes of great quality, such as a beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese and roasted pine nuts or pickled balsamic onions and elaborately prepared antipasti. It is unthinkable that a jar of mixed pickles would be opened here and offered on a plate, as we recently experienced in a restaurant that was described to us and also in Google reviews as "the best Italian" in Hanover. Oh well.
At Sapori the cuisine was authentic and truly excellent. Supposedly small things, such as a (self?) very well baked sourdough bread are the reason for the 5 stars and for some it is important to know... at a neighboring table the pasta dish was made gluten-free upon request.
Strong! We will definitely come back.
