Gunn is an amazing, thoughtful, and creative chef! I rarely write reviews, but Satdha is absolutely my #1 favorite restaurant in LA, and this place is a must try, especially for vegetarians and gluten free folks. The endive cups, snap pea salad, and beet-dyed noodles are my absolute favorites, though I honestly love all the dishes. They're all so unique, bursting with freshness and vibrant flavors. The names of the dishes may not sound sexy, but I promise you, the taste is truly delightful. Each bite feels like a little celebration, a joyful experience. I just adore and appreciate this restaurant and all the people involved.

Had a great time here ! I am vegan and my cousin is gluten free & vegetarian , and they had so many great options ! The staff was so kind in helping us decide on what to order. The food was so flavorful and delicious with great portion sizes, we got the pad Thai and the turmeric curry ramen , plus 2 hard kombucha on draft. I also grabbed a pack of vegan Chocolate chip cookies on the way out that were fantastic. Plus, it was as super close to our hotel which was amazing ! A great vegan spot in Santa Monica ! Would highly recommend.

Chef Gunn recently gifted attendees with a 10-course 10-year anniversary event that was an absolute triumph of elevated food heaven! Each course was unique, impeccably prepared, a small plate of gorgeous design worthy of Michelin star consideration. Chef Gunn's mastery of a Thai plant based feast was awe-inspiring, a true celebration of unique flavors, each bite a burst of the sublime, incredible and delicious. The event's 10 courses were new offerings by Chef Gunn not reflected on the regular Satdha menu beloved by regulars for its wonderful plant based Thai food, dairy and gluten free. Satdha will remain a westside jewel with a welcoming casual atmosphere. Satdha's serving staff also deserve a shout-out for their excellent, friendly service - as well as the kitchen staff who consistent produce quality dishes.
