I had given this place a 5 star after my first visit, kept it at a five star when I came back a second time to try their brunch menu (which was good), but after my 3rd visit, unfortunately, I don’t think I will be coming back for a 4th visit.
Third visit: unfortunately they were not able to accommodate the same dietary restrictions I asked for during my first visit even though I ordered the dish. Without asking if we can eat spicy, all our dishes were made spicy (which did not happen during our first visit). The food was made too spicy for all of us, so we were not able to enjoy our meal much, just constantly chugging water or stuffing ourselves with rice (which wasn’t enough, the staff saw us struggling & offered more rice, but should have maybe offered to re-make the dish without spice instead. The place has a very dim lighting, but we also saw a bug crawling on our table. Definite safety concerns too as this restaurant has an open kitchen concept. Desert & cocktails were great! So I would recommend those, but if you cannot eat spicy, remember to let them know ahead.
First visit: Great service (Jantana was amazing), delicious food & cocktail, amazing plating & great ambiance.
Very accommodating for dietary restrictions with vegan/vegetarian & gluten free options.
Recommend the Emerald Elixir (Pandan infused cocktail for 2) & the Pandanus Sponge Cake (tastes amazing, strong Pandan flavor & not too sweet).
