Sazón

My girlfriend and I would come here at least once or twice a month. Food is delicious and they advertise gluten free dishes on their menu. My girlfriend has celiac disease and they used to be good at food handling & preparing gluten free food. Unfortunately this changed & the kitchen staff contaminated their gluten free fryer. We were told this by staff before ordering and stayed clear of their gluten free fried foods. They still contaminated her gluten free meal (steak) after assuring us that they could still safely handle her order. She got extremely sick. It is very scary when she gets this contaminated. I went back in and told the manager on duty and he showed no concern & said it was impossible. Clearly he did not care or understand how dangerous it is when their kitchen staff are careless with their food handling. He just brushed it off like it was no big deal. Very sad to see this lack of concern for food safety. Edit after reading response from owner. There is an app called Find Me GF where another Celtic reported getting sick recently. I truly hope they fix this as the food is amazing. It only takes one poorly trained worker to contaminate a busy kitchen.

The best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. I’m gluten free and dairy free. They accommodated these restrictions with no issue. I had beef fajitas and a yummy Sazón Coin margarita. My husband had chihuahua enchiladas. We’ll be back. Soon!!

We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is top notch and the service is incredible. Highly recommend trying the molcajete and if Cassandra is working, request her as your server! I am gluten free and almost everything on the menu is gluten free! This is our go-to restaurant to take friends and family and all of our out of town visitors. No one has ever been disappointed!
