Scandimania Coffee House

Had been several times before but our last visit, a few weeks ago was a major disappointment not least as we took with us some friends who both work in hospitality. There was no welcome from the staff (on their phones) no gluten-free options left, indeed no food options other than toasties (which to be fair we're fine but not an option for a gf person) We asked for water and was told where we could find it. When we did we found the glasses were dirty. We asked for clean ones and they gave us new dirty ones. We pointed that out and were told they had been through the dishwasher so should be clean! They weren't. It wasn't the lack of options in the end that was issue; things do run out, but the utter lack of concern or communication or care on the part of the staff. I'm normally a glass half full sort of person but this really wasn't acceptable and we probably won't be back, however good the coffee. Sorry

I'm a support worker, my client and I visit twice a week. The staff are amazingly friendly, they make you feel at home and look after you so well. All food is amazing! Fresh, homemade and just beautiful! You can get a gorgeous, homemade cake, with gluten free and vegan options a available, with a hot chocolate or coffee, for just over £6. It's a bargain and one of favourite places to go!
