One of the most beautiful and unique bookshops and cafes I have ever visited with a vast array of titles, authors, subjects and genres and stocks both new and second hand books. The cafe has countless vegan and gluten free options, serving fresh dishes and delicious cakes. Good gluten free options. Would highly recommend!

A quaint and eccentric bookshop that would make Joe Goldberg go weak at the knees. Crammed to the rafters with a staggering & eclectic collection of books, and thoroughly steeped in history & obvious community support, this is a must on your Derbyshire bucket list. The secret café hidden behind a moving bookcase is also fantastic. (Great for vegans/vegetarians/celiacs, and the cakes are divine!)
