I am visiting Newport News from Richmond for my anniversary weekend. We decided on this place because it had a Gluten Free menu and good reviews from other celiacs. It was FREAKING PHENOMENAL. I ordered the peppered scallops as a starter, crab cake, scallop and shrimp trio with gratin potatoes and garlic mashed potatoes (all to split with my fiancé) as the entree and the crème brûlée for dessert. Coming from a Chef, I couldn’t have made this meal any better myself. Among the top 5 I’ve ever had in my life. I seriously would sell my legs to live closer so I could eat here again. The service was a little slow, about 45 minutes before we received an appetizer and then another 35 before the meal was delivered. However it was a Friday night and they had a few big parties so I’m sure that’s what caused the jam. No matter though, I’d wait that long again to enjoy it. 110% worth every penny ❤️
