Schnucks Carbondale

It's always nice to go here. They have a nice gluten free section.

Went to schnucks because they carry Boars Head deli meat. I get this brand because it is certified gluten free and I cannot consume gluten as im allergic. When I went up to the deli counter I had asked for thrm to use a clean machine as I have a gluten allergy. In response the lady told me that she could not do that as she had 5 orders before me and basically that would take 15 min for her to just clean the machine. I told her that I never had issues before and she kept being rude. I walked away and said okay I will just go to Kroger since they never talked to me like that and are extremely accomadating to my allergy. At this point she tried to get me to come back but I do not trust her as she seemed like it was too much work before and made me feel like an inconvenience. I did speak with two managers and they apologized to me and let me know they do accomadate to gluten allergy sufferers but I am so nervous that no one will take this seriously. So schnucks is a great store but I dont know if I can ever trust again.
