Scotchmans Hill Winery

We had a lovely time at lunch on Sunday. The busy restaurant had a great atmosphere, and as we were seated near a window, we could see the bay and Melbourne on the horizon. The food was excellent, with great choices for everyone. As a coeliac vegetarian, I am often disappointed with my meal, but not this time. The care taken was exemplary, and i was so excited with the dessert, saffron poached pears..........so delicious! And of course, the wine was excellent too. Service was amazing, with friendly, courteous staff who knew what they were talking about regarding the food and wine. Terrific place for a great lunch, dinner or wine tasting. With a view!

Delicious food and lovely venue. A great food and wine destination but you need to book. The menu provided a good range of options that suited the entire table - including gluten free. We had entrees and mains. The flavours were well balanced and included fresh produce grown onsite. Kids could play on the lawn while we enjoyed the lovely wine pairings. Great vibe and incredible views across the water to the city skyline.
