Scratch Steakhouse And Lounge

Our server was very friendly and made killer drinks, food was very good. However I was incredibly disappointed with the overall knowledge of gluten and simply careless efforts made. There was one appetizer on the menu labeled as “GF” however after questioning discovered that the wonton chips contained gluten. My salad was also labeled as “GF” but came out with croutons even after multiple conversations about needing gluten free/friendly. The soups all sounded great, but I wanted to be sure that none of them were thickened with flour- cook assured all 3 soups (including the barley soup???!!!) contained no gluten ingredients. I ended up getting the potato soup, I do believe it was in fact thickened with flour. I had just a couple bites of it and was sick the majority of the weekend. Please educate your staff or don’t claim to be gluten free/friendly. I was actually really excited to go out for a nice dinner and not have to worry based on reviews from “Find me GF” but those were clearly outdated.

We had the best dinner!!!!!! My son has celiacs. We had the Korean nacho appetizer. Then we each had the filet with mashed potatoes and salad/veggie. We added the peppercorn brandy topping and one of us ordered the shrimp Alfredo topping. We also had chili. One of the best steaks we've had!!

The food was amazing. Delicious, fresh and made from scratch. I had salmon and gnocchi which was made in house. Family had awesome steaks. Great atmosphere. The food is definitely worth the money. Our daughter is gluten free and was so excited that most of the menu is gluten free because everything is made from scratch and they choose to make it all in a gluten free way!! Way to go Chef/Owner! Our new favorite restaurant
