Sea Captain's House

Delicious and accommodating for gluten free dairy free people! Flounder shrimp scallops shrimp stir fry hush puppies large baked potato all good. Bebe is an excellent waitress!

The Sea Captains house is closed and deep cleaned for 2 weeks a year, so you always know they are clean. Depending on the server you either get rude servers that don't care, or great ones, it's a toss up. I have celiacs disease and there are limited options, but they do try to accommodate. The portion size is great, the views are lovely. and the managers are pretty great too.

Had a not so great experience today, I ordered my food through door dash at 2:08, got the message that my food was ready at 218 so I went to pick up with my kids.. when I got to the restaurant the hostess directed me to the bar.. I saw a paper bag and assumed it was mine.. well it wasn't I apologized to the other customer and the bartender whispered something to the other person she was with, and when I talked to the bartender he took me up to the front and didn't come back... But instead walked out the other side and was back at the bar.. then someone else came out and he says "that lady over there" and points to me.. this guy says "well we just got the order so it'll be a while.." to which I replied that I got the message it was ready to which he just made a face 😬 I asked how long it would be he said 15 minutes. I left with my kids and walked back to our hotel and came back around 240 walked up to the bar again... Still nothing.. the bartender says "what did you have?" Then disappears comes back "you were here before right? Did you leave with anything?" .. I tell him no then recant the previous events he leaves comes back and says that they were switching shifts and they have to figure out what happened... They said someone else took my food it'll be another couple minutes someone comes out and gives me the bag of food explains "the customer" ordered gluten free hush puppies and they aren't gluten free,( he must've not realized the customer was me...) apologized I said it wasn't a problem and left THEN someone else chased me out and asked if I had everything.. well I didn't, I was missing an extra order of fries then the other guy checked my receipt (not a big deal, she gave me an extra order) left at 3.. food was okay but the customer service was a mess.
