Sea Dog had a ton of gluten free options. Any place can offer items that were always gluten free but they went over an above to offer gluten free apps, meals, sandwiches, etc., they even offered fried items, fish, crab, lobster…. Even their clam chowder and Alfredo, all gf.. great drinks, friendly service, chill atmosphere.. We ordered the crab Rangoon dip app and even my non gluten free partner said it was one of his all time restaurant favs.. If you are ever in town check it out, you won’t be disappointed..

I was really excited to try out Sea Dog despite our hotel mgr telling us not to, but he was right. The food was over-priced for low quality. What was good: the clam chowder was fabulous, it was even gluten free which was great for me. The on-tap cider, and craft beer was good and cold! What was bad: We ordered the nachos w/ grilled chix and they were probably the worst for a bar restaurant I’ve ever had for $22. It was a 12” dinner plate with low quality chips and scarce amounts of chix and cheese, like real scarce. What it did have was copious amounts of salsa in which they broiled on top. Everything was soggy on the bottom and just bad. My husband had a grilled corned beef on rye it looked delicious, but he asked if he could have it on a wrap and the bar waitress said no although they had wraps. He ended up just eating the meat out of the grilled bread, it was more bread than anything. He upgraded the usual fries to onion rings and they were nothing special, burnt and over cooked. Sad to say the hotel mgr called it, we should took his advice. The vibe was good, people friendly, but food for the price ($79) was way too much for poor quality bar food.
