Seacrets

Seacrets is like a place like no other. The ambiance is a sandy beach bar with an option to sit inside or outside - but you can't lose with either choice! There are many instagrammable picture ops too! There are ample bathrooms that are regularly stocked, security to keep you safe, & great air conditioning. Everyone treats guests kindly and like we are VIPs. I've tried a lot of their food & drink over the years of going here. They use their own liquor for the drinks, which makes them taste excellent! Their spiced rum is wonderful. The quesadilla, chicken tenders, nachos...it's all solid. Even the jerk chicken is made with love. But THE best menu item is the rum cake, which is straight perfection!! Mrs. Moore's spiced rum cake is delectable and even gluten free. It's a must have, so make sure you save room. Seacrets is an OC destination that shouldn't be missed!!

Really loved the food and vibes! We went in the early afternoon so it wasn’t too packed and had no wait time. As a vegetarian and non local I was STRUGGLING to find food that wasn’t fried and greasy my whole trip so I was super excited to have their veggie burger & I loved it! Plus they had other veg option. If you’re gluten free, they had gluten free options but I did ask as my dad has celiacs and is very reactive - if they had a dedicated kitchen space or if they were more so “gluten sensitive” and they do not have a dedicated space but all their burgers have the option of replacing the bread with a gluten free bread which is promising for low risk of contamination! They did ask for IDs to be seated just to eat & I did forget my wallet so I had to grab that before being seated lol!

This spot is definitely for the tourists that like to drink and don't care much about the food, service, or music. Our server was working hard, but clearly in the weeds the whole time we were there. We barely saw her, had to wave her down for drink refills, and food took over 45 minutes to arrive. There were no indications of gluten free menu items, and when asked, the server was not knowledgable about the menu items. (Despite the internet saying the owner has Celiac Disease.) The music was a dude acoustic act who sounded great 30% of the time, but the majority of the time was either whiny, grating, or inaudible. We had a super undercooked, pink, mushy burger, but we didn't bother saying anything because we were afraid the server would crack. The rest of the food was mid, at best. The only good part of the experience were the palm trees, plants, and sunset views. So, if your standards for food and service are low and you're just looking for a tropical vibe sunset, this is the place for you.
